Tuning an Electric Guitar

If you’re tuning an electric guitar, you’ll take a 1/4-inch cable and plug one end into the output jack of your guitar, then plug the other end in to the jack of the tuner. Make sure the volume control on your guitar is all the way up, and tune as if you were tuning your acoustic guitar.

Tips : If you notice your guitar is constantly going out of tune, or only certain chords will stay in tune, you need to change the strings. The strings have become fatigued and don’t have the strength to stay in tune.
